Our trip to the AAFS Conference in Chicago started off a little bumpy. We were supposed to leave NC at 7:15 but didn’t get out until after noon. We finally made it here around 6pm and were greeted with sub-freezing temperatures and snow on the ground.
However, once we arrived, the charm of Chicago quickly melted away our travel blues. The city offers unsurpassed views and architecture along with some exceptional dining options.
Wednesday morning was our first day of the show, and the attendance was outstanding. Traffic at our booth was the best it has been in several years, and the show’s layout allowed attendees easy access to the vendor area. The AAFS and the Hyatt Regency Chicago have done a great job organizing this year’s conference.
If you didn’t get to Chicago this year, you will definitely want to attend the 2012 AAFS show as it is a premier event for the forensic community!
