Haley Briggs was found safe this afternoon in Haywood County, NC, authorities announced.  The child was abducted by her non-custodial mother early Thursday morning.   Megan Briggs broke into the home of her grandparents who are Haley’s guardians, stole the child and other items including keys to their car, and drove to a friend’s home early in the morning.  Megan Briggs will face charges of burglary in the first degree, kidnapping, and grand larceny.
