Downflow Workstation - Small
Our Downflow Workstation is designed to virtually eliminate latent print powder from the operator's eyes, clothing, and respiratory system as well as surrounding surfaces.
This small, lightweight workstation is ductless and can easily be moved from one location to another within your lab or even taken to a crime scene.
The principle of the operation is straightforward: simply turn the On/Off switch to the on position, place or hold the object being dusted for prints over the stainless steel work surface, and then develop the print. Any "extra" powder will be drawn down into the workstation by means of a powerful 160 cfm centrifugal fan and then captured in the filtering system.
If your laboratory has strong cross air flow from doors, windows, or air conditioning/heating vents, the Air Guard will solve your problem. This one-piece, three sided, .375” thick, clear acrylic guard can be ordered either with the Downflow Workstation or at a later date.
A 3X Magnifying Lamp for the Downflow Workstation is also available.
