Our Postmortem DNA Blood Collection Kit is designed for the collection and long-term storage of a DNA blood specimen from a decedent whose identification is unknown.

When the sample is submitted to your state crime laboratory, the lab compares it with reference samples collected from family members of missing persons or enters the results in the family member database in the Missing Person's Index of the National DNA Database (CODIS).
