Trace Evidence Collection Tape

This 3" W x 180' L tape is routinely used for collection of trace evidence such as hair, fiber, glass shards, etc. The collection procedure is similar to that of lifting a dusted latent print; however, the adhesive is soluble in water. To remove the trace evidence from the tape, simply soak the tape in water, then run the solution through a filter to collect the evidence for microscopic analysis.
